One of San Juan Island’s premier farm to table restaurants is hiring for its BOH team. Spend the summer at Coho Restaurant in Friday Harbor working with an exceptionally talented, hardworking and professional team that delivers a memorable dining experience each evening for our patrons. Coho Restaurant’s menu features high quality seasonal ingredients from Island and mainland farms. This is an exciting position for those looking to better their skills or for who want to gain experience in smaller production artisan kitchen. Our kitchen makes everything from scratch and Chef enjoys teaching and mentoring our team to expand their skills.

This full time seasonal position includes responsibilities as Garde Manger, prep cook, and dishwasher from June 1 – September 30, Monday – Friday. Two afternoons each week include prepping with chef that roll into evening dinner service as the dishwasher; one night is on the line as the pantry/dessert cook (making appetizers, preparing amuse and plating dessert) and the other two nights as the dishwasher. What an amazing opportunity to observe a seasoned chef on the line each night!
